Established in 1994 by art dealer
Alexandra Phillips, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
We specialize in art advisory services, and we are agents to a
number of well-established contemporary artists. Working closely
with our artists we organize solo exhibitions in Museums and galleries
internationally, and operate mainly in Buenos Aires, London and
New York.
We also aim to provide a wide range of services to our clients
in the building and management of a collection. We are involved
in the secondary market of 20th century Latin American Masters,
and work in the resale of works by artists such as Botero, Roberto
Matta, Torres Garcia, and others.
Alexandra Phillips did her training in the art world in London
(1987-1992), where she studied History of Arts at The Study Centre
(formerly known as the V&A Course), and worked at Christie’s
in the Contemporary Art department. In 1992 she returned to Buenos
Aires to join Sotheby’s office. She later became a partner
with Alejandro Furlong at Arthouse Gallery until 1994, when she
established herself independently as a private art dealer.
